Intelligent Design Trials

I don't think very much about the entire Creationism/Intelligent Design/Evolution/Darwinism thing. The reason that I don't is that I don't see this as the battlefront that we, as Christians, need to hold onto. This is a fallen world and a secular society (thus the word secular.) This is not going to change. I understand respect for opinions and for true science and these are important things. As is, training up our children in the way they should go. But to be fair, YOU can teach your kids too. Teach them to think. Teach them that they need to learn how to operate in a Christian way in an upside-down and hostile world. That is what they need to learn.

I remain true to the fact that Christianity is not about creating a Christian society. Jesus did not give us any instruction to 'Go into all the world, and change society to agree with everything that we believe.' He did not even mess with trying to change His culture/society/political system. Because this world is NOT the culture that we as Christians belong to. That was not the point. The point was/is 'anyone who is a friend of the world, is not a friend of mine.' This world is upside-down. We must realize this and then pursue God and His Kingdom here on earth.

Great article on Foxnews.com about this.
