Take a moment and take a look at what they are doing.
If you would like to understand what the Lord is speaking to our team, then you
must spend some time meditating on a few scriptures... Ezekiel chapters 1-3; 2 Corinthians chapters 3-4; Exodus 33; Psalm 29; and Isaiah 60. At one point in prayer, we felt a great emphasis upon the Glory of God manifesting within our midst... but not in some charismatic cookiness, but rather in a fresh move, something that we have in no way to comprehend as of present. Also, today we felt a touch of the Lord's heart for holiness and purity in our midst as a young generation. Might I say as a young man from the United States of America, what an honor it is to be able to come and serve in this nation. I have hope for this generation and for what the Lord is doing in this part of the world. I was told by a professor this year that quite possibly the dark ages were not as such, but rather maybe our perception of that time period is a bit skewed. Well, after studying such a time period I was able to adopt such an understanding and I wonder if maybe we as evangelicals in America have done the same by projecting upon Europe this ungodly perception that might not be so accurate. I understand the way the world is going... but with all that said, it seems that there is a remnant, both in Israel and the Nations. I think that we are part of it, us as a team, and us as a generation.
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14
(While he is traveling the world preaching the Gospel, I am blogging about a dirty room. Ha. I should probably go do something with my world pretty soon, don't you think?)
